Proposals Overview
We are seeking to progress a planning application to improve the hotel offer at the Llanelli Central East Premier Inn. We are proposing the following development:
“Demolition of existing hotel restaurant and replacement with new building providing additional hotel bedrooms and breakfast room, together with alterations to the car park and all associated works”.
Premier Inn has identified a considerable demand for additional budget hotel accommodation in this location. It is also acting to reconfigure the restaurant proposition to ensure it best fits the needs of customers in select locations. This proposal for additional bedrooms and an adjusted restaurant proposition would meet Premier Inn’s operational requirements and go some way in helping to address the guest bedroom demand in the area.
The proposed development represents a long-term commitment to sustainable business practice to the benefits of the local environment and economy. The proposal includes a comprehensive suite of operational, technological and construction measures, which will together enhance the environmental performance of the site alongside increasing the hotel offer. This is delivered with a building fabric first design philosophy and efficient building services combined with the available Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) technology such as Air Source Heat Pumps.
